Guten Morgen zusammen,
für den o.g. Drucker erhalten wir hin und wieder die Nachricht:
"CPA403D: (C R) Bedieneraktion bei Einheit ELEMPRT01 erforderlich."
Die Meldung tritt immer dann auf, wenn der Drucker im Stand by Modus ist.
Der Drucker ist folgendermaßen als Netzwerkdrucker Konfiguriert (gefunden auf Seite (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas1ba0863cfa6463903862569c10078c9 03) )
Hersteller, Typ und Modell . . . . : *RICOHAP3200
Systemdefin. Treiberprogramm . . . : *HPPJLDRV
Gibt es auf der AS/400 eine Möglichkeit die Wartezeit bis zur Nachricht zu erhöhen?
Sobald ich ein "R" eingebe druckt der Drucker Problemlos.

Hi,
Was du tun kannst, ist die Error Message von *inq auf *info setzen.
CHGDEVPRT DEVD(ELEMPRT01) PRTERRMSG(*INFO)
Soweit ich weiß, wird der Drucker dann aber beendet.
Ggf. in die SYSRPYLE eine automatische Antwort "R" einstellen und den Druckjob auf automatische Antwort ändern.

Gemäss IBM:
Changing the PRTERRMSG from *INQ to *INFO will cause either message CPI404F "Problem with device &1" or message CPD337F "Remote device rejected an attempt by the writer to open a connection" to be issued as an informational message rather than of getting CPA403D as an inquiry message, depending on the version and PTF level on your system. Since you will no longer be getting an inquiry message whenever user intervention is requested on the printer, you will not have to answer a message operating system to get printing to continue once the error condition on the printer has been resolved. The writer will continue to contact the printer to reestablish a connection. This should prevent the printer from timing out and should allow the writer to continue printing where it left off when the printer is once again available.

So war die Formatierung nicht gemeint.
