Hallo *all,
ich hatte mir heute morgen mal das Midrange Magazin 04/2014 durchgelesen und war auf den Artikel bezgl. DB2Xtool gestoßen.
Ich fand das Tool von der Beschreibung her ganz interessant und hätte es auch auf der Testmaschine mal ausprobiert.
Das Problem ist nur das bei der Registrierung bei easy400.net keine Freemailer akzeptiert werden (web.de etc.) sondern nur Firmen E-Mail Adressen.
Wäre ja noch ok.
Was der Tuppes aber erst nach der Registrierung sagt, das er 50$ im Jahr haben will wenn man sich seine Tools runterladen möchte.
Ich denke als fairer Kaufman könnte man so was auch vorher sagen bevor man alle Daten abgreift.
Aber vermutlich hat er zulange mit den Amerikanern zusammen gearbeitet von denen man ja solche linken Touren gewohnt ist.

Hm... ich habe auf die Schnelle nichts gefunden, wo er nach Geld für den Download verlangt. Aber vielleicht ist mein Account auf seiner Seite in einem VIP-Modus? ;-)

this Easy400.net site provides you with a nice selection of IBM i open source utilities that may greatly enhance your productivity and the satisfaction of your users and customers. ... schreib doch mal an antoon, was der davon hält, wenn er für solche Touren eingespannt wird. Die eMail Adresse findest Du, wenn du nach DB2XTOOLs (man beachte das s am Schluss) suchst. (Auch diese Nummer ist schon herb...)

Die Strategie mancher Leute muss man nicht immer nachvollziehen können...
