Hi,
I would like to transfer data from excel into JDE database which runs on
AS400. I tried to create a macro on AS400 but it doesn't recognize MS_Excel.

Ich waere im Stande eine Deutsche Antwort zu verstehen.

Hallo, der einfachste Weg geht mittels MS/Access:
Import von Excel in eine DB,
Export mittels ODBC an AS/400.
Die Datei auf AS/400 sollte vorher angelegt sein (mittels DDS oder CREATE TABLE), da der MS/Export sonst VARLEN-Fields bzw. DOUBLE-Fields erstellt. Dies könnte bei der Weiterverarbeitung der Daten mittels RPG/COBOL sonst zu Schwierigkeiten führen.
es gibt ein exel plug-in im ClientAccess
das heißt "cwbtfxla.xll" und ist bei mir in :
N:\IBM\Client Access\Shared\
