View Full Version : WDSC - Online Hilfe funktioniert nicht

Seit ich WDSC 5.1.2 installiert habe, funktioniert die Online Hilfe (zum Beispiel im Editor CODE) nicht mehr. Der Internet-Explorer wird zwar bei der Betätigung der Funtkionstaste F1 geöffnet, aber es kommt dann der Hinweis, dass der notwendige Server nicht gefunden wurde. Mit der alten Version von WDSC (Version 4) funktionierte dies problemlos.
Weiss jemand, wo das Problem liegt?

In WDSC V5.1, users select Help from the IDE title bar and then select Help Content. The following message is received: Requested URL could not be retrieved.
To fix the problem, do the following:

1 From the browser (Internet Explorer V5.5 or V6.0), select Tools.
2 Select Internet Options.
3 Click on the Connections tab.
4 Click on the LAN settings box.
5 Click on the LAN setting screen, and select Use a Proxy Server .
6 An Advanced button is shown. Select the Advanced button.
7 On the next screen, a box is shown that says Exceptions .
8 In that box, add the localhost name, and click OK.
9 Uncheck everything in the Automatic Configuration box.

Vielen Dank für die Antwort
Leider funktioniert es immer noch nicht. Bei uns in der Firma verwenden wir gar keine Proxyserver.
In der Zwischenzeit denke ich aber, dass es etwas mit den Ports zu tun hat. Wenn ich "IBM information-Center" manuell öffne, dass wird localhost:4411 verwendet (und das funktioniert auch). Wenn ich im WDSC-Editor CODE F1 drücke, dann wird localhost:49214 verwendet und dann werden ja die Hilfe-Dokumente nicht geöffnet (Server nicht gefunden ...).
Wenn ich im WDSC beim CODE-Editor einstellen könnte, dass der Port 4411 anstelle von 49214 verwenden werden solll, funktioniert es vielleicht. Aber ich weiss nicht wo. Weiss jemand, wo diese Einstellungen zu finden sind?
