Hallo zusammen.

wir haben eine neue ISeries die 2 Partitionen enthält.

Die erste Partition kann einwandfrei gestartet werden und das BS usw ist auch schon droben.

Nun wollte ich bei der zweiten den LIC-Code per Band (Startmodus D Manuell) einspielen. Nun hab ich das Problem das gar nicht auf das Band zugegriffen wird um den Code einzuspielen. Evtl wird wahrscheinlich das Bandlaufwerk auch nicht erkannt. Was mache ich falsch???

Platform LIC detected an error

Platform Licensed Internal Code detected that an IOP request failed.
This error indicates a failure during a search for the load source. There may be a number of these failure prior to finding a good load source. This is normal. If a B2xx3110 error is logged, a B2xx3200 or B7005122 may be posted to the control panel. Work the B2xx3110 error in the Serviceable Event View. If the system IPL hangs at B2xx3200 or B7005122 and you cannot check the SRC history, perform the actions indicated for the B2xx3110 SRC.


B2xx3110

Cause: All load source candidates have been scanned for valid secondary partition code. However, in all cases, errors were encountered that prevented each from being used as a load source candidate for the IPL. The IPL is ended.

Recovery: Address each problem found, and then try the secondary partition's IPL again. If it continues to fail, contact your service provider.

Problem analysis procedure: Scan the secondary partition's SRC history list for prior B2ppxxxx failure SRCs (where pp is the partition ID) to pinpoint the source of the problem.

Diese Meldungen haben mir bis jetzt auch nicht die erleuchtung gebracht.
