CumPTF C3037710 bzw. Group-PTF DB2 SF99701 Level-22 defekt

falls noch nicht bekannt:

To all System i clients that have ordered SF99701 between Friday March 8 to Friday March 15, 2013.

PTF 5770SS1 SI49213 is defective, along with superceding PTFs SI49337, SI49409, SI49504 and SI49646. When any of these PTFs are applied, you could experience system damage due to an unexpected failure occurring while processing the PTF exit program. The defective PTFs were included in SF99701 Level 22, which was released on March 8th, 2013.

PTF 5770SS1 SI49730 is the preventative PTF. PTF SI49730 was included in SF99701 Level 23, which was released on Friday March 15th, 2013.

If you downloaded PTFs SI49213 through SI49646, do not apply them.
Instead, download and apply 5770SS1 SI49730.
If you downloaded DB2 PTF Group SF99701 Level 22, do not apply it.
Instead, download and apply DB2 PTF Group SF99701 Level 23.

If you have already applied either the individual PTFs or SF99701 Level 22, you can issue the following system command to determine if you may be affected by the damage:

DSPFD FILE(QUSRSYS/QAEDSPI)

If the DSPFD command fails and indicates that damage has been encountered, contact IBM Service. PTF SF49730 avoids causing the damage. If damage has occurred, application of SI49730 will not fix the damage and you support service needs to be contacted.

das Cumtape C3037710 ist natürlich nicht defekt, sondern nur Ptfs aus dem SF99701 Stand "22".

Korrekt -
nur das Group-PTF SF99701 Level-22 ist beschädigt.

wenn man aber in dem genannten Zeitraum 08.03.2013 bis 15.03.2013 das CumPTF gezogen haben sollte, hat man eben auch den beschädigten Stand mit drin.
