Hallo zusammen,

ich wollte am Wochenende zu unserem bestehenden RAID5 (6 Platten) eine Hot Spare Platte konfigurieren. Als ich eine Platte dazu aus dem RAID entfernen wollte, hat die Maschine den gesamten RAID aufgelöst. Jetzt läuft die Maschine ohne entsprechenden Schutz. Wenn ich über SST oder DST RAID5 neu sterten will, bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung:

 o  All the disk units in a parity set must be the same capacity    
    with a minimum number of either 3 or 4 units, and a maximum     
    number up to 18 units (depending upon the type of adapter)

 o  The type/model of the disk units is not supported for the

 o  If starting device parity protection beyond the

* heißt das, RAID5 kann nur im eingeschränkten System gestartet werden?
