Abstract
MSGTCP2617 LOGGED IN QSYSOPR AS WELL AS QTCPIP JOBLOG
Error Description
**LAST UPDATED 07/27/02**
R520
MSGTCP2617 will be logged in QSYSOPR as well as QTCPIP joblog.
This could cause many messages to be logged in QSYSOPR possibly
causing other mesages to not be found because of QSYSOPR
wrapping.
The logging can be turned off through CHGTCPA TCPCNNMSG(*NONE).
The default is *THRESHOLD, which will log one abnormally closed
connection per minute. The recommendation is to log these
messages and investigate why they are being logged, taking the
appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
If the cause of these messages is not of concern then the
logging can be turned off using the above command.

Hallo Tarasik,

Jo
