WAS6: Rapid Deplyment - Problem

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes Problem:
Ich möchte auf unserem Websphere V6 (auf iSeries) das Rapid Deployment konfigurieren, aber irgendwie scheitert es an der Global Security (diese ist aktiviert). Ohne Global Security funktioniert es.

Ich gehe folgendermaßen vor:
1. wrd-config -workspace /QIBM/tmp/workspace -project project1 -style AutoAppInstall

2. wrd -workspace /QIBM/tmp/workspace -monitor

Worauf muss ich denn achten wenn ich mich über den SOAP-Port mit dem Server verbinden möchte?

Custom profile error
If an error occurred creating a custom profile, look at the addNode.log file for any
additional errors. Look for an error message similar to the following:
[Date and Time stamp] 0000000a AbstractNodeC E ADMU0006E: Exception creating
Deployment Manager connection:
com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.ConnectorEx ception: ADMC0016E: The
system cannot create a SOAP connector to connect to host hostname at port 8879
If you see this message, it is likely that the deployment manager profile is not
running. Ensure that the deployment manager profile is created and running on
the specified port and host before creation of custom profile.
If neither of these messages appears and you do not see any other obvious
problems, go to “The next step” on page 113.

Danke für die Info. Leider bin ich schon im Wochenende, von daher werde ich das erst am Montag testen können. Ich meld' mich dann, wenn es funktioniert hat.

Entschuldigung für die verspätung, aber das Problem scheint sich von selbst behoben zu haben (ja, sowas gibt's auch). Wir haben von V5R2 auf V5R3 migriert und schont klappte die ganze Geschichte. Woran das jetzt lag kann keiner sagen, selbst die IBM ist ratlos.
