HP 4350 Ausgabefach

Hallo

Wir haben einen HP 4350 mit einem zusätzliche Ausgabefach für 500 Blatt. Der Drucker ist auch mit einer IPDS-Karte ausgerüstet. Soviel ich weiss, sollte ich in einem *AFPDS-Spool mittels dem Keyword outbin dieses zusätzliche Ausgabefach ansprechen können. Unabhängig davon was ich für outbin angebe, spuckt der Drucker aber die gedruckten Blätter in das normale 250-Blatt-Ausgabefach hinaus. Was mache ich falsch?

Das ist mir - wie ich erwähnt habe - schon bekannt. Mein Problem ist, dass unabhängig vom Wert für das Keyword OUTBIN die gedruckten Blätter immer im normalen Ausgabefach landen. Es gelingt mir nicht, das zusätzliche, grössere Fach anzusteuern.

Ggf. musst du ein WSCST-Objekt an die OUTQ/DEVD hängen und die entsprechende ESC-Sequenz dort eintragen.

Output Bin Selection
You can define support for multiple output bins. You begin the support for output bin
selection with the OUTBINTBL tag and end the support with the EOUTBINTBL tag.
The OUTBINTBLE tags fall between the defining each output bin.

Output Bin Selection (OUTBINTBL) Tag
The OUTBINTBL tag allows the Host Print Transform workstation customizing
objects to support multiple output bins. This tag must be followed by one or more
OUTBINTBLE tags that contain the output bins. There are no parameters on this
tag. The syntax is:
:OUTBINTBL.
Output Bin Selection Entry (OUTBINTBLE) Tag
The OUTBINTBLE tag defines a particular output destination. This tag must be
follows by one or more OUTBINTBL tage. The EOUTBINTBL tag must follow a
group of OUTBINTBLE tags. The syntax is:
:OUTBINTBLE
NUMBER = 1-65535
DATA = © ©X.
NUMBER
This is a required parameter. This parameter defines the output destination.
DATA
This is a required parameter. This parameter specifies the ASCII control
sequence for the output destination. This must be a hexadecimal value.
End Output Bin Selection (EOUTBINTBL) Tag
The EOUTBINTBL tag is used to end a group of output bin table entries in the
customizing source. There are no parameters on this tag. The syntax is:
:EOUTBINTBL.

Auf der IPDS-Karte konnte mittels ein Web-Interface ein Target Mapping definiert und gespeichert werden. Nun wird mit OUTBIN(1) das untere, normale Ausgabefach, mit OUTBIN(2) das obere, grössere Fach angesteuert.
